El litio se refuerza como prioridad productiva para Jujuy

En el viejo predio de Altos Hornos Zapla, en Palpalá, se montará un centro de investigaciones e instituto técnico para procesar el litio. Esto es producto de un acuerdo entre la Universidad Nacional de Jujuy, el CONICET e Y-TEC, una rama de desarrollo tecnológico de YPF. El objetivo es procesar el litio que se extraerá de la Puna Jujeña. La doctora Victoria Flexer estará a cargo de investigación básica sobre nuevos procesos para el desarrollo del litio.  Esto permitirá generar valor agregado en la misma provincia y evitar que la investigación e industrialización se haga en otras provincias o fuera del país.
